The right 18-inch wheel for a Model Y depends on the exact vehicle and wheel design. Start with the model year, market, seating configuration and trim, then check the wheel and tire package together.
Tesla's current US Model Y wheel and tire table includes an 18x8.5J wheel with a 35.5 mm offset and a 235/55R18 tire rated 104 XL / H. The same table separates other configurations, including Performance and six-seat setups. Use the manual applicable to your own vehicle; this table is not approval for an arbitrary 18-inch aftermarket wheel.
Wheel diameter does not describe the full barrel or spoke shape. Ask for confirmation that the exact wheel SKU clears your brake package. Include any aftermarket brakes in the request, and do not infer fitment from a photo of another Model Y.
A tire's load index and a wheel's load rating are different specifications. Confirm both against the vehicle's requirements. A listing that gives only diameter, width and offset is missing information needed for a complete fitment decision.
Start with a design you like in our 18-inch wheel catalog. Record the manufacturer, model and SKU, then ask for the missing technical specifications. This catalog includes wheels for many vehicles, so its products are candidates to investigate rather than a pre-approved Model Y list.
We do not rank a wheel as the best choice without checking the vehicle and intended tire setup. Tell us whether your priorities are daily driving, winter use or a particular appearance, and whether you plan to reuse tires.
Request a Model Y fitment check with your model year, trim, current wheel and tire sizes, and the product link you are considering.
